Lead - Data Scientist

Overview

Lead Data Scientist focused on applying Generative AI to build conversational, real-time AI/ML services for employee engagement.

What you'll do

• Partner with product and business teams to align GenAI initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Design and experiment with GenAI-powered intelligent systems using ML, statistics, and advanced mathematics.
• Own ML pipelines end to end, including preprocessing, model generation, cross-validation, and feedback integration.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers to build scalable, low-latency real-time ML/AI services.
• Build systems to ingest and process large volumes of streaming data.
• Define and monitor KPIs that reflect end-user value delivered by GenAI solutions.

What you'll need

• At least 7 years of relevant industry work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong mathematical foundations for machine learning, including probability, statistics, linear algebra, calculus, and optimization.
• Hands-on GenAI/NLP experience using prompt engineering, LLMs, transformers, and knowledge graphs.
• Proficiency with big data and distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Strong database skills, including SQL and NoSQL and schema design.
• Background in at least two specialized areas such as NLP, statistical ML, deep learning, distributed systems, graph algorithms, constraint optimization, or signal processing.
