Lead Engineer CRP

Overview

Lead a team of design engineers delivering Protection & Control panel engineering for high voltage transmission substations within Hitachi Energy's Grid Automation business.

What you'll do

• Assess contract specifications for requirements, deviations, risks and opportunities.
• Create base designs with all necessary concepts, cost-effective and based on customer contract specification and technical offer.
• Supervise the engineering process and documentation quality of the design team so drawings and documents are technically complete against the project specification.
• Lead technical resolution of solutions with customers, translating customer requirements into Hitachi solutions.
• Actively manage technical changes, risks and claims (technical part only).
• Support bids and proposals to find solutions that meet customer functional requirements and remain competitive in the market.
• Lead CRP drawing standardization and solution optimization activities for a set of customers.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Protection & Control Panel Engineering.
• Experience leading a team of design engineers.
• Leadership capability.
• Strong communication skills.
• Robust knowledge of power system networks, protection, control and substation automation.
