Lead Engineer – Software(DO-178B/C,3-6 years)

Overview

Lead Engineer – Software for safety-critical aerospace applications, based in Bangalore or Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Design and develop middleware, core software libraries, and platform software compliant with DO-178B/C.
• Analyze and develop high-level and low-level software requirements.
• Create software architecture, detailed designs, and embedded software components using object-oriented design.
• Implement, integrate, debug, and verify embedded software primarily using C++.
• Develop and execute software test cases, test procedures, and automated test scripts.
• Support software verification, validation, certification activities, and lifecycle documentation.
• Participate in technical and peer reviews and resolve complex software issues.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software development in aerospace or other safety-critical domains.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, with C++ preferred.
• Hands-on experience with DO-178B/C software development and certification activities.
• Experience in software architecture, design, coding, integration, debugging, and verification.
• Experience creating software requirements, test cases, and verification procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional engineering teams.
