Staff Software Engineer - CCaaS (Employer of Record)

Overview

Staff Software Engineer (CCaaS) responsible for designing and delivering scalable software solutions and leading technical direction across multiple applications and systems.

What you'll do

• Design and develop software and improve existing code for efficiency and bug detection.
• Write unit tests and validate software against acceptance criteria.
• Drive software design and architecture evolution using leading-edge practices.
• Conduct impact analysis and evaluate solution options across multiple applications.
• Lead code reviews and document code, designs, and projects for maintainability.
• Debug production issues and propose solutions across applications.
• Mentor engineers and participate in Agile sprint commitments and continuous learning.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3 years of recent Genesys Cloud experience.
• 5 years of recent Java experience.
• Lead experience overseeing technical direction across a software engineering team.
• Strong understanding and use of object-oriented programming languages and design patterns.
• Practical experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile/SCRUM and Waterfall.
• Experience with data modeling, design, and messaging.

• Work remotely from India with regular overlap with U.S. business hours.
