Lead Engineer, VP

Overview

Lead engineering role responsible for designing and implementing high-quality technology solutions in the Accounting domain. The role combines hands-on full-stack development, technical direction, architecture, stakeholder communication, and team mentorship.

What you'll do

• Define system designs, select technologies, and establish scalable, secure, reliable architecture patterns.
• Write critical code and lead code reviews covering quality, testing, and documentation.
• Coach junior and mid-level developers and support their career growth.
• Translate technical concepts for product, design, and executive stakeholders.
• Analyze, design, code, and support release activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and tribe leads to deliver business outcomes.

What you'll need

• Minimum 15 years of IT industry experience in full-stack development.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture, design patterns, and distributed architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience with message queues and data streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Experience with public cloud; GCP is preferred, with AWS or Azure also listed.
• Knowledge of SRE, production operations, testing practices, APIs, and data formats.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
• Experience designing solutions for large-scale operations.
• Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity while applying responsible judgment.
