Lead Enterprise Software Engineer (IIT / BITS candidates preferred)

Overview

Lead Enterprise Software Engineer focused on building Python web APIs, Python SDKs, and deploying Python applications on Azure, alongside applied AI solutions using LLMs and RAG.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement Python Web APIs with scalability, security, and performance considerations.
• Design, develop, test, and release custom Python SDKs across the full SDLC with documentation and version control.
• Develop, deploy, and manage Python applications on Azure using Azure Functions and App Service.
• Build AI solutions using Python with LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering to solve complex problems.
• Monitor quality/performance and identify bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Document processes and mentor junior developers in Python best practices.

What you'll need

• Proven experience developing Web APIs using Python.
• Strong expertise creating and managing custom SDKs.
• Minimum 6–8 months of Generative AI experience.
• Minimum 2–4 years AI/ML experience on Azure or AWS.
• Minimum 2–4 years software development experience.
• Experience working in GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI coding environments.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
