Overview
Lead Payroll Operations for the APAC region, based in Pune, India. Own end-to-end payroll execution and provide supervisory oversight to keep APAC payroll operations smooth, scalable, and compliant.
What you'll do
- Ensure accurate, on-time end-to-end payroll processing for assigned APAC payrolls.
- Capture inputs for payroll vendors and perform gross-to-net reconciliations and prior-period comparisons.
- Oversee day-to-day payroll delivery for assigned APAC counties, reviewing and approving payrolls for accuracy and timing.
- Support payroll transformation through complex migrations and system integrations between the Payroll System and Workday.
- Monitor and manage payroll vendor SLAs and recommend corrective actions for slippages.
- Support external and internal audits and assist with internal control design and implementation.
- Partner with HR, Stock Administration, Benefits, Recruiting, Legal, and Accounting to streamline processes.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of relevant and progressive payroll experience.
- Public company experience is required.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills including pivots and V/H lookups.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll-related compliance requirements, taxation, and finance concepts.
- Proactive, problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
