Lead- Private Fixed Income Valuation

Overview

Lead role for Private Fixed Income valuation, responsible for independent and compliant valuations of illiquid private debt assets and overseeing the pricing lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Oversee the end-to-end pricing lifecycle, including daily checks and monthly/quarterly valuation processes.
• Review daily price movements, identify anomalies, and escalate and remediate issues.
• Perform fixed income ad-hoc valuation and operational/production analysis.
• Challenge pricing exceptions, document rationale, and ensure approvals follow internal valuation policies.
• Coordinate structured price challenges with vendors/brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver accurate price files for month/quarter close and support valuation-related audit queries, operating SOX/ICFR controls.

What you'll need

• About 5 to 8 years of experience in valuation of equity or fixed income securities.
• Full-time MBA (Finance).
• Interest in financial analysis and investments.
• Sound knowledge of the Bloomberg database.
• Practical knowledge of fixed income valuation methods (e.g., DCF, matrix pricing, broker quotes).
• Advanced Excel with comfort working with large datasets.
• Decision-making supported with data and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Location: Gurugram, Haryana.
• Hybrid work model: work from office at least two days per month.
• Shift timings: regular 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM IST, with flexibility for extended hours during month-end close; expected hours listed for BD1/BD2 and month-end close period.
