Lead SDET (Search and Match)

Overview

Lead SDET for Search and Match, translating functional/technical/architectural understanding into low-level QA automation design and mentoring the test automation team.

What you'll do

• Translate functional, technical, and architectural views into low-level technical design for developers.
• Develop and maintain a test automation framework per project requirements.
• Debug issues by understanding software internals and write automated tests using scripting and automation tools.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration for testing.
• Contribute to backend automation tests and test tools, including extending API automation frameworks.
• Involve in performance, security, and scalability testing efforts.
• Participate in test design and code reviews.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of experience with search platforms such as Solr and modern search architectures.
• 5-7 years of experience in API test automation using tools such as Karate, Rest Assured, or Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Core Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with source code controls such as SVN, GIT, or CVS.
• Exposure to test and defect management tools such as JIRA, Trail, or Zephyr.
• Experience with one or more database technology including SQL and NoSQL options.
• Lead SDET experience of 7 years+.
