Senior QA Automation Engineer

Overview

Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead quality engineering for Zafin’s enterprise SaaS platform, building scalable automation frameworks across the SDLC.

What you'll do

• Define and drive quality engineering and automation strategy.
• Design scalable automation frameworks for UI, APIs, backend services, and integrations.
• Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead API, database, event-driven, and end-to-end testing.
• Improve performance, resilience, and scalability via continuous testing.
• Establish quality metrics and engineering best practices, and mentor engineers.

What you'll need

• 6–9 years of experience in quality engineering.
• Experience designing and building scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Hands-on API automation using Rest Assured/Postman, plus SQL and backend validation.
• CI/CD automation integration experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of performance testing and event-driven systems (Kafka), preferably in Azure/Kubernetes.
