Lead Security Engineer

Overview

Lead Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and operating enterprise security controls across cloud, infrastructure, and SaaS environments.

What you'll do

• Design and implement security architecture across AWS, on premises, and SaaS platforms.
• Engineer and maintain identity and access management controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC, least privilege).
• Lead SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and cloud security tooling implementation and tuning.
• Develop and automate security controls using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Drive secure configuration standards for cloud workloads and enterprise systems.
• Oversee vulnerability remediation and risk prioritization; lead security monitoring and incident response investigations.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in security engineering or infrastructure security.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience securing AWS environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, and logging.
• Experience with security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, and CSPM tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Industry certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AWS Security Specialty).
