Lead Security Engineer

Overview

Lead Security Engineer to represent security across the product development lifecycle and drive threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure coding for AI/agentic workflows.

What you'll do

• Drive adoption of secure coding practices, including for AI-generated and AI-assisted code.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to mitigate threats.
• Automate security processes using scripts, AI agents, and AI skills.
• Build and maintain security tooling, automation, and monitoring capabilities for security workflows.
• Threat model agentic systems (e.g., prompt injection, tool misuse, privilege escalation, data exfiltration).
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents with cross-team remediation.

What you'll need

• 7+ years in security engineering or application security with staff-level cross-team scope.
• Understand risks unique to AI-generated code and agentic workflows (e.g., prompt injection, insecure dependencies, hallucinated logic, excessive agent permissions).
• Be comfortable reviewing and verifying AI-authored code in a review-and-verify workflow.
• Experience building/configuring custom agents or skills for security use cases (e.g., threat modeling, code review, incident triage).
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents/skills in a production engineering workflow (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, or similar).
• Deep understanding of web application architecture and common security flaws/fixes (as published by OWASP, SANS, and similar bodies).
