Lead Software Engineer - AWS

Overview

Agile Lead Software Engineer (AWS) for Contact Center teams, building and supporting scalable cloud solutions for an omni-channel customer experience platform.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and maintain Contact Center solutions within Amazon Connect.
• Develop IVR/contact flows, routing logic, and telephony integrations.
• Create and maintain APIs, microservices, and serverless solutions.
• Implement AWS services including IAM, Lambda/serverless, API Gateway, and data services.
• Contribute to migration and modernization of contact center platforms.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to refine user stories and deliver sprint commitments.
• Write automated unit/integration tests, review code, and troubleshoot defects with root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect (preferred) or similar platforms (Genesys Cloud, NICE, Five9).
• Knowledge of IVR/contact flows, routing logic, and telephony integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS IAM (roles, policies, access control), Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Experience with data services such as DynamoDB and S3 (or RDS).
• DevOps/CI/CD experience including Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline (CodeBuild/CodeDeploy preferred) and Git.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments and familiarity with Jira or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS).
• Observability tools such as CloudWatch or Splunk.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• AWS certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect).
• Experience in large-scale cloud or contact center transformations.
