Software Engineer Global - Observability Accelerators & AI

Overview

Build and support enterprise observability accelerators and AI-powered operational tools. Develop production-grade software and cloud-native AWS solutions that improve reliability and incident response.

What you'll do

• Build, test, document, and implement software and AWS cloud solutions.
• Develop observability capabilities across logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Terraform or CloudFormation configurations.
• Integrate AI-enabled skills or agents into observability workflows.
• Respond to production problems and implement resolution efforts.
• Collaborate with engineers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior team members and work in an agile environment.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of relevant work-related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent formal training.
• Intermediate knowledge of software development methodologies and testing.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python or similar.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, and API Gateway.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD, Grafana, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and communicate solution recommendations.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of machine learning, anomaly detection, SRE, or cost optimization.
