Senior Software Engineer, Product Development

Overview

Senior Software Engineer, Product Development (also described as an OMS L2 Support Engineer) will provide Level 2 production support for a cloud-native Order Management System (OMS).

What you'll do

• Provide Level 2 production support for the Order Management System (OMS).
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and collaborate with Engineering on permanent fixes.
• Diagnose issues using application logs, API failures, database records, and cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor production health, identify trends, and proactively prevent incidents.
• Support deployments, configuration changes, and production releases.

What you'll need

• 3–7 years of experience in Application Support, Technical Production Support, or L2 Support for enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch).
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Loki (also mentioned with CloudWatch).
• Experience understanding/using REST APIs, Git, and Linux/Unix.

• Work involves participation in rotational shifts/on-call support including weekends and holidays for global production support.
