Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud-based contact center transformation solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS services. Build AI-driven IVR capabilities, integrations, and operational processes for enterprise environments.

What you'll do

• Lead design and implementation of cloud-based contact center initiatives.
• Build AI-driven IVR solutions using Amazon Connect.
• Lead solution design, requirements analysis, workshops, backlog grooming, and stakeholder demos.
• Manage client RFP and RFI proposal responses.
• Validate prompt logic and maintain code quality.
• Support deployment, monitoring, runbooks, and ongoing operations.
• Mentor and upskill team members.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of overall experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Amazon Connect.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect flows and AWS Lambda.
• Experience with API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM policies, and AWS Lex.
• Knowledge of contact center KPIs, IVRs, routing, queue logic, callbacks, and escalations.
• Understanding of AWS Cloud, solution architecture, APIs, and API-based integrations.
• 15 years of full-time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Contact Lens, Amazon Bedrock or Kendra.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and DevOps.
