Lead Software Engineer (Manual Testing)

Overview

Lead Software Engineer responsible for planning and conducting software verification (manual and automation) within an agile team.

What you'll do

• Define software test strategy and test plans for verification.
• Plan, estimate, and execute automation and manual test cases.
• Build and manage test infrastructure, tools, frameworks, and verification environments.
• Investigate identified issues using methods such as root cause analysis and reproducing steps.
• Write and review software verification plans and lead formal large-scale test events.
• Participate in requirements, architecture, and design reviews to shape test strategy.
• Collaborate with development, automation, and UX teams and support mentoring.

What you'll need

• At least 10 years of experience in manual testing and system verification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive test strategies, and own deliverables end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts and experience with Postgres, SQL, Oracle and/or SQL Server.
• Experience with test and defect management tools.
• Strong problem resolution, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work with multi-functional and remote teams.
