Lead Software Engineer - .Net

Overview

Lead Software Engineer for the DMS Change Management team, owning technical direction for the customer layer of a Data Management Platform and leading design, architecture, and developer execution.

What you'll do

• Own technical design and architecture for assigned platform areas with scalability, maintainability, and enterprise alignment.
• Lead and mentor DMS Change developers through technical guidance, design/code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Drive technical escalation for SaaS efforts and define new capabilities supporting Data Management Service Business Operations.
• Partner with QA to own the testing strategy, ensuring test coverage and promoting TDD/BDD practices.
• Lead debugging and root-cause analysis in SIT, UAT, and PROD, including coaching others.
• Champion tool and automation creation to reduce repeated work and time spent on recurring activities.
• Communicate priorities, negotiate trade-offs, and align delivery with business and program objectives.

What you'll need

• 10+ years experience using .NET technologies with emphasis on C# and Microsoft .NET Framework (WPF, WWF, WCF).
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring developers, including code/design reviews and technical decision-making.
• Experience with multi-threaded / performance intensive applications.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and development.
• Familiarity with Git/TFS and continuous build/CI practices.
• Strong experience with RDBMS (Oracle/MSSQL).
• Solid knowledge of Web API, .NET Core, microservices, and Docker/container-based applications.
