Lead Software Engineer (Web Methods, Mulesoft)

Overview

Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise integrations using webMethods Integration Server and MuleSoft (Mule 4) in an on-premise environment.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using webMethods Integration Server and MuleSoft (Mule 4).
• Lead end-to-end integration solutions across multiple enterprise systems.
• Build and expose RESTful and SOAP APIs and support API-led connectivity.
• Develop integrations with Salesforce for data synchronization and process automation.
• Support, enhance, and stabilize on-premise webMethods integrations.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior developers.

What you'll need

• 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration development.
• Strong expertise in webMethods Integration Server and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
• Proven experience integrating with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk).
• Solid hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services, integration patterns, and API-led architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments with problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of API design, versioning, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for integration deployments.
• Familiarity with cloud integration platforms in hybrid or on-prem/cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with data transformation technologies (XML, JSON, XSLT).
• Working knowledge of security protocols including OAuth, SSL, certificates, and API security.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or multi-system integration landscapes.
