Senior Software Engineer - DevOps Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (DevOps Engineer) role focused on leading moderately complex software and DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and production support.

What you'll do

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technology domain environments.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs (including upgrades and deployments).
• Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges through in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
• Lead projects and serve as an escalation point, providing guidance to less experienced staff.
• Build new or maintain/enhance DevOps pipelines and provide pipeline/onboarding support.
• Drive automation of manual repetitive operational tasks and production operational automation efforts.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via work experience, training, military experience, or education).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Harness.
• Build tool familiarity with Maven and Gradle.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps controls (SonarQube, Checkmarx, Qualys) across SDLC.
• Ability to design and operate container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Any scripting skills (Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
