Lead Specialist , Project Controls

Overview

Lead Specialist in the Project Control Division of KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), responsible for forecasting, controlling and reporting project costs and schedules.

What you'll do

• Forecast, control and report project costs.
• Develop project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, monthly forecasts and reporting.
• Review project costs incurred by category and calculate future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis.
• Participate in or lead the change control process.
• Ensure the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling.
• Coordinate with procurement and material managers as well as engineering work group leads on essential items of supply.
• Provide priorities for projects to guarantee completion.
• Contribute to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis.
• Under general supervision, solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices in project controls.
• Use experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes.
• May provide guidance to less experienced team members.
• May require accounting, financial management and customer reporting responsibilities at the project level.

What you'll need

• Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and 10+ years of experience.
