Lead Technical Program Manager

Overview

Lead Technical Program Manager for Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) overseeing cross-functional delivery, governance, and planning for program initiatives using Visa’s Agentic Tool Chain (VATC).

What you'll do

• Provide oversight and governance for cross-functional delivery of VCS programs and initiatives.
• Drive seamless, timely planning, prioritization, and execution for program roadmaps and milestones.
• Partner with product & technology leads for annual operational planning and quarterly product/program reviews.
• Help prioritize initiatives and epics aligned to OKRs and workforce capacity.
• Manage resource rosters, program forecasts, and budgeting and related financial items.
• Ensure program adherence to Visa’s Agentic Lifecycle Methodology, controls, and audit-compliant processes.
• Provide telemetry/metrics reporting on quality, flow, value, and agility measures, and coordinate risk/dependency communication.

What you'll need

• 16+ years of work experience in technical program management or software development (or 10+ with an advanced degree, or 5+ with a PhD).
• Experience developing plugins and agents using Claude Code, cline, or other AI Agentic tools.
• Enterprise program management tools experience including Jira and Jira Align.
• Scaled Agile Certification experience (SAFe for Teams, Leading SAFe, Implementing SAFe, or SAFe for Release Train Engineers).
• Analytical reporting tools experience such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience managing large-scale engineering and operational projects.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adopt agentic/GenAI approaches.

• Location: Bengaluru, India.
• On-site expectation: at least 3 days in office (exact days to be confirmed by the hiring manager).
