Overview
Lead UX Researcher to build and run a high-frequency user research system for product decision-making.
What you'll do
- Build a system to conduct and evangelise user research at high frequency.
- Independently plan and execute generative and evaluative research (interviews, usability testing, surveys, contextual inquiries, diary studies, concept testing, journey mapping).
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user needs, behaviors, pain points, and opportunities.
- Create research outputs such as insight reports, personas, journey maps, opportunity frameworks, and recommendations.
- Present findings to stakeholders and leadership and provide actionable recommendations.
- Mentor junior researchers and improve research operations (templates, repositories, processes, tools, and best practices).
What you'll need
- 6+ years of hands-on experience independently planning and executing UX research.
- Strong experience with both generative and evaluative UX research methods.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, Sociology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with tools such as UserTesting, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, Maze, Lookback, Miro, Figma, and/or Axure (or similar).
- Strong ability to synthesize findings into practical product and design recommendations.
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with B2C, AI-powered products, consumer applications, marketplaces, or similar digital products.
- Experience building or scaling research operations.
- Familiarity with product analytics, experimentation, or behavioral data.
- Experience conducting accessibility or inclusive design research.
