Lead Validation Engineer (UWB)

Overview

Lead Validation Engineer for pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of SoCs/ASICs, covering validation strategy, test development, debug, and characterization through production readiness.

What you'll do

• Review architecture, micro-architecture, and SoC/IP design specifications.
• Develop validation plans, test strategies, and coverage metrics.
• Execute validation test plans on FPGA, emulation, and silicon platforms.
• Lead first-silicon bring-up and characterization for stress test scenarios.
• Debug silicon issues using lab instruments and trace tools, then drive corrective actions.
• Validate peripheral functionality and compliance plus interoperability testing.
• Develop embedded C firmware, board bring-up software, and bare-metal/RTOS validation applications.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of pre-silicon and post-silicon validation experience.
• Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture and subsystem interactions.
• Experience with ARM-based multicore SoCs and embedded systems.
• Deep hardware-software interaction knowledge.
• Experience with lab equipment and protocol analyzers.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
