Lead Workday HCM Engineer

Overview

Lead the Workday HCM configuration and functional HR process ownership in your defined areas.

What you'll do

• Own Workday configuration for specified HCM-related areas.
• Partner with HR to deliver day-to-day operational support and HR projects.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to review and improve business processes.
• Translate business needs into scalable solutions and manage design choices.
• Work with stakeholders to confirm requirements and drive requirements sign-off.
• Lead functional projects as a subject matter expert for Workday reporting datasets.
• Implement Workday enhancements and provide training to support adoption.

What you'll need

• 7–10 years of Workday HCM experience including Compensation, Absence/Time Off, Recruiting, Security, and Reporting.
• Excellent consultative, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel knowledge, including functions and pivot tables.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have Workday configuration across HCM/Compensation/Absence/Recruitment/Security/Report/EIBs.
