Lead Workday Security Administrator & Integration Developer

Overview

Lead Workday Security Administrator & Integration Developer responsible for Workday platform security/compliance and building enterprise Workday integrations.

What you'll do

• Own and administer the Workday security model, including security policies and security groups.
• Enforce segregation-of-duties (SoD) controls and manage least-privilege role assignments.
• Lead access reviews, security audits, and maintain audit-ready compliance documentation.
• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.
• Develop secure REST/SOAP integrations and maintain secure Integration System Users (ISU) and Integration System Security Groups (ISSG).
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.
• Partner with HR, HRIS, IT, Internal Audit, and Information Security for compliant solutions and agile delivery.

What you'll need

• Workday certification in Security Administration and/or integrations development.
• Extensive hands-on experience administering Workday security framework (domain/business process security, security groups, SoD).
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.
• Experience configuring SSO/SAML and secure credential management for ISU/ISSG.
• Solid understanding of Workday architecture and the HCM data model.
• Working knowledge of SOX, data privacy, and HR system audit/compliance requirements.
• 7–12 years of overall experience; 4–7+ years in Workday Security Administration and/or integrations; senior/lead capacity.
