Systems Analyst, Workday Hcm/Payroll

Overview

Systems Analyst supporting Workday HCM and Payroll applications, with responsibility for payroll/HR support, configuration changes, integrations, and compliance within the Workday ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary application support for Payroll and HR across compensation, benefits, absence, time tracking, and Workday Payroll.
• Provide expert support for Workday Security and integrations while ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
• Execute ongoing Workday configuration changes including business processes, foundational data, and security model updates.
• Participate in bi-weekly Agile sprint development for Tier 3 requests and feature enhancements using SDLC and Workday Change Management protocols.
• Architect end-to-end solutions including Workday configuration, integrations, and downstream impacts.
• Gather and document business requirements, translate them into technical designs, and configure, test, and deploy changes to production.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of Workday HCM experience with hands-on expertise in Payroll, Security, and integrations.
• Software engineering background to design, debug, and support complex workflows and integrations.
• Deep functional knowledge of Workday Payroll, including processing, compliance, tax setup, and external payroll integrations.
• Strong expertise in Workday integrations and security, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs, and domain security policies.
• Hands-on experience with Workday modules such as Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Proven experience architecting end-to-end solutions across Workday configuration, integrations, and downstream systems.
• Expertise in report writing (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and EIB uploads to automate and optimize processes.
