Legal Counsel for Lloyds Offshore Global Services in Hyderabad, providing strategic, commercially focused legal advice across India operations.
What you'll do
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology, software licensing, vendor, and professional services agreements.
- Advise on contractual risk allocation, commercial negotiations, supplier governance, and dispute resolution.
- Advise on corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and legal risk management.
- Support corporate governance activities including statutory records and regulatory filings.
- Advise on data privacy, information security, and cross-border data transfer requirements.
- Advise on lease documentation and property-related matters.
- Manage external counsel and litigation matters where required.
What you'll need
- Qualified lawyer in India with 12-15+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in an in-house legal role, preferably within a GCC, multinational corporation, financial services, or technology company.
- Strong experience advising on commercial, technology, and outsourcing contracts.
- Sound understanding of corporate governance, regulatory, and risk management frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
- Experience handling disputes, investigations, and regulatory matters.
- Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
