Overview

Legal Counsel for Lloyds Offshore Global Services in Hyderabad, providing strategic, commercially focused legal advice across India operations.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate technology, software licensing, vendor, and professional services agreements.
• Advise on contractual risk allocation, commercial negotiations, supplier governance, and dispute resolution.
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and legal risk management.
• Support corporate governance activities including statutory records and regulatory filings.
• Advise on data privacy, information security, and cross-border data transfer requirements.
• Advise on lease documentation and property-related matters.
• Manage external counsel and litigation matters where required.

What you'll need

• Qualified lawyer in India with 12-15+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in an in-house legal role, preferably within a GCC, multinational corporation, financial services, or technology company.
• Strong experience advising on commercial, technology, and outsourcing contracts.
• Sound understanding of corporate governance, regulatory, and risk management frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
• Experience handling disputes, investigations, and regulatory matters.
• Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
