Legal Counsel

Overview

Experienced Legal Counsel for P&G India based in Mumbai, providing legal advice across multiple law areas and managing disputes across the Indian sub-continent.

What you'll do

• Provide legal guidance across commercial, advertising, pharma, competition, labour, industrial, and environmental laws.
• Draft, vet, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts and agreements.
• Advise on marketing initiatives, advertising, product communication, and promotions.
• Support intellectual property related matters.
• Support business development document negotiation and execution.
• Manage disputes across forums and handle external counsel/service provider management.
• Work with internal Government Relations on government relations matters.

What you'll need

• 3-7 years of experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department (pharma/FMCG preferred).
• Strong commercial contracting, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience advising on marketing/advertising and managing disputes (preferred).
• Company Secretary qualification (preferred).
• Ability to operate independently and communicate strongly.
• High integrity and strong forward-thinking, strategic, and proactive leadership skills.
