Sr Associate, Disputes and Fraud Analysis

Overview

As a Sr Associate, Disputes and Fraud Analysis, you investigate and process disputes and chargebacks for clients’ card portfolio programs.

What you'll do

• Investigate, evaluate, and process disputes/chargebacks for debit, credit, and prepaid card programs.
• Contact cardholders to investigate possible fraud.
• Follow compliance and verification procedures and stay current with network regulatory requirements and client guidelines.
• Monitor systems to detect possible fraudulent behavior related to card usage.
• Track and take action on cases within timeframes per regulatory guidelines and client requirements.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries about chargeback requirements, claim status, and dispute lifecycle.

What you'll need

• 1-4 years of financial or customer service experience.
• Experience with chargeback/fraud/disputes (including association with Mastercard OR Visa).
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Intermediate computer skills with 40 WPM minimum.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Regulation E and Regulation Z.
• Knowledge of Visa and/or Mastercard operating regulations.
• Experience with electronic funds transfer (EFT).
