Overview

Legal Operations Associate - Administrator for MUFG’s EMEA Legal Operations team in Bangalore. The role supports US Treasury Clearing filing requirements and ongoing legal operations for executed derivative/hedging/repo documentation.

What you'll do

• Handle US Treasury Clearing filing requirements for initial support and ongoing new onboardings.
• Manage information and data for executed derivative/hedging/repo documentation, including data input and data clean-up.
• Run regular and ad hoc reports to track completion and gaps in data entry.
• Answer ad hoc non-legal questions from other functions related to the relevant data.
• Circulate executed trade documentation for relevant parties.
• Support technology platforms (including Lyncs) with access, usage, key statistics reporting, troubleshooting, and queries.
• Track and report status of key projects across the department.

What you'll need

• Experience in legal administration or legal operations in-house or at a top law firm, including work with international clients.
• A university degree (or equivalent).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to create and manage Excel spreadsheets and analyze/report on data using Excel formulas and charts.
• Comfort with technology including Teams, conference calls, workflow functionality, and task management platforms (e.g., Monday, JIRA).
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
