Legal Publishing Associate

Overview

Legal Publishing Associate to support the Practical Law Global Central Editorial Team (GCET). The role focuses on publishing and quality-checking legal content for live web rendering and accuracy.

What you'll do

• Publish content assets and verify proper rendering on the live site.
• Proof-read content to prevent typographical errors and broken links on the live site.
• Compare and convert documents.
• Compile and maintain internal lists and data.
• Perform resource audits and coordinate bulk changes to content.
• Review content in document templates to ensure correct live-site rendering and resolve template issues.
• Support answering customer questions and ensure they are published appropriately.

What you'll need

• Minimum undergraduate Law degree.
• 1.5–3 years of experience working in law offices, law firms, or law apprenticeships.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working to deadlines and prioritizing own workload.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working in a publish environment.
• Previous experience using technology to create and disseminate online content.

Details

• Hybrid work model: 2–3 days a week in the office (depending on the role).
• Working with colleagues in Hyderabad and the UK.
• Supervised by two EA Managers based in Hyderabad.
