Lender Finance EU - Associate

Overview

Associate supporting a private credit financing platform serving direct lending funds and private capital providers across Europe. The role covers data analysis, asset due diligence, deal monitoring, portfolio analytics and automated risk reporting.

What you'll do

• Perform data analysis and asset due diligence during deal underwriting.
• Monitor deals throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Analyze and reconcile loan tapes, asset memos, financial statements and performance reports.
• Synthesize asset-level data to identify trends, concentrations, performance drivers and emerging risks.
• Build dashboards, automated monitoring tools and management reporting solutions.
• Calculate historical and projected performance measures using analytical tools.
• Develop predictive analytics and automated risk-monitoring capabilities.

What you'll need

• Technical and quantitative academic background from a top-tier engineering school.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, MS Excel and VBA.
• Knowledge of ETL using Power Query.
• Knowledge of dashboarding with Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of modern data architecture concepts.
• Exposure to AI/ML, predictive analytics, data automation and large-scale data processing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
