Overview
The Logistics Analyst 2 manages global returns and reverse logistics processes, coordinates with regional stakeholders and service teams, and supports repairs, reporting, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Follow and execute defined guidelines and checklists for managing global returns.
- Coordinate with regional SPOCs, field engineers and customer service to ensure part returns within the agreed SLA.
- Perform analysis related to spares returns order processing, Lam’s Reverse Logistics Management System in SAP, Lam’s Quality Defect Reporting System and SAP Material Master.
- Analyze reports and metrics for deviations from plan, reconcile data variances, identify root causes and execute corrective actions.
- Work with regional users to understand gaps and conduct root-cause and corrective actions to drive closure.
- Work with management and global stakeholders on reverse logistics, repairs, customer issues, business plans and product availability.
- Work with Lam engineers to ensure return of warranty-eligible parts after failure analysis.
- Monitor logistics, the flow of failed parts and POD, take proactive action on delays and escalate when required.
- Follow up consistently and track each stage of the return process to ensure a complete, closed-loop transaction.
- Interact with customers and service representatives on post-sales repair, refurbishment and cleaning service functions.
- Understand issues related to returns and RCA and provide solutions in a time-bound manner.
- Record and report the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules.
- Interpret large data sets and suggest continuous improvement projects.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, including KPIs and operational metrics, and provide RCA on misses.
What you'll need
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience.
- 2 years of experience in reverse logistics, repair operations or supply chain is preferable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/IP/IM) or MBA in supply chain or operations.
- Proven experience managing processes in any area related to the reverse value chain, logistics and customer service, with problem-solving related to processes and SAP.
- Demonstrated ownership of KPIs for the respective function, including RCCA for misses.
- Proficiency in SAP MM/SD.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- High-level stakeholder interfacing skills across regions.
- Ability to listen effectively and communicate professionally and courteously.
- Ability to escalate effectively when required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet aggressive timelines.
Nice to have
- Certification in supply chain or logistics.
- Prior work experience in the reverse value chain.
- Experience with Dangerous Goods reports.
- Exposure to new tools and technology in the reverse logistics or asset recovery domain.
- End-user exposure to Power BI and Power Apps.

- Location: Bangalore, India.
- Lam offers work location models based on the needs of each role.
- On-site Flex roles involve working 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week.
- Virtual Flex roles involve working 1–2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
