Logistics Analyst

Overview

Coordinates and oversees key workload activities to ensure materials are available when needed, including order tracking, expediting, stock issues, record discrepancies, sourcing decisions, and supporting Material Availability Analysts.

What you'll do

• Work with suppliers to improve performance standards, including suppliers delivering consistently below 95% on time.
• Address supplier capacity/capability issues and supplier lack of planning or execution discipline.
• Collaborate with suppliers to obtain promise dates and actively follow up and monitor progress on all supplier commitments.
• Engage and discuss with Global Purchasing whenever a lack of supplier capacity/capability is identified.
• Take ownership to lead appropriate action plans for process improvements with Purchasing and other Process Partners, including Warehouse and Transportation teams.
• Perform analytical and administrative tasks to improve Supplier Performance Standards.
• Work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree, in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or Logistics/Supply Chain.
• 6-Sigma and CPS knowledge.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• 5+ years experience in business unit logistic planning groups, including demand planning and logistic planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform data query analysis.
• Interpersonal, teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles.
• Value behaviour of Integrity and Teamwork.

Nice to have

• Background in Manufacturing, Operations, Inventory Management, Material Requirements and/or Supply Chain/Logistics.
• Familiarity with company policies and procedures with a strong department background.
• Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
• Work onsite five days a week.
• Shift timings 3 PM to 12 AM.
• No direct reports.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
