Manager Business / Functional Architecture

Overview

Define the target-state architecture and high-level design for Trade Finance, aligned to business outcomes and the bank's strategy, covering business, application, data, and technology architecture. Own the end-to-end solution and roadmap, including integration with Payments and Core Banking platforms.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with business, product owners, architects, and technical SMEs to understand and document the current-state architecture, pain points, objectives, and strategy.
• Define the target-state architectural strategy for Trade Finance in line with the bank's strategy and enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Define target-state solution architecture and design end-to-end architectural views and processes for the scope.
• Document roadmap options, analyse them, and define the end-to-end roadmap for the recommended option.
• Define the high-level implementation roadmap and document impacts to other domains, ROM, dependencies, and risks.
• Review and sign off the target state and roadmap with relevant stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 15+ years overall experience
• 5+ years in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture
• Proficient in defining target-state architecture and high-level design across business, application, data, and technology dimensions
• Proficient in Trade Finance, with deep understanding of integration to Payments and Core Banking platforms
• Proficient in cloud-native architecture, microservices design patterns, API design, event-driven architecture, and database concepts
• Good understanding of monolith-to-microservices migration
• Able to work with multiple stakeholders across functional areas, domains, and geographies
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Industry architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate)
• Regulatory frameworks (Basel III, PSD2, ISO 20022)
