Manager - Controllership (NBFC)

Overview

Manager - Controllership for an NBFC, leading financial reporting/close, RBI compliance, and audit governance.

What you'll do

• Lead the month-end closure process and coordinate with Business Finance, AR, and AP.
• Prepare financial statements and present results with clear, actionable insights.
• Review and ensure accurate ECL provisioning under Ind AS 109 (in collaboration with Risk).
• Develop accounting entries for new/complex transactions to ensure standards compliance.
• Prepare and file mandatory RBI returns on monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal, tax, and statutory auditors and ensure audit completion.

What you'll need

• CA qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an NBFC is required.
• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related fields is required.
• Must be able to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
