Manager - Data Platform & Architecture Lead

Overview

Manager - Data Platform & Architecture Lead will own architecture, design, and modernization of an enterprise data foundation.

What you'll do

• Own the architecture and technical roadmap for the enterprise data platform.
• Lead Snowflake data warehouse/lakehouse design including modeling, ingestion, transformation, access controls, tuning, and cost optimization.
• Design reusable data models, semantic layers, and governed datasets for reporting and AI-enabled use cases.
• Modernize Power BI models in collaboration with reporting and analytics teams.
• Support Alteryx modernization/migration by replacing manual workflows with scalable pipelines.
• Design data integration patterns across systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365/SharePoint, finance systems, spreadsheets, APIs, and third-party sources.
• Establish data quality, lineage, reconciliation, documentation, and observability standards.

What you'll need

• 6-9 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, cloud data platforms, or analytics engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, ELT/ETL, and enterprise data warehouse design.
• Experience with Power BI semantic models (Microsoft Fabric experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, role-based access, data quality, and lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating data from SaaS platforms, APIs, finance systems, Salesforce, and flat-file sources.
• Ability to design scalable architecture while contributing hands-on when needed.
