Manager - Employee Relations

Overview

Manage employee relations and statutory compliance across Piramal Pharma’s manufacturing plants and offices in India, including risk management and litigation coordination.

What you'll do

• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure the central employee-relations compliance framework is followed across locations.
• Handle employee grievances and support HR investigations and disciplinary action plans.
• Plan and conduct internal statutory audits for manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites/offices across India.
• Oversee third-party/contractor compliance aligned with evolving labour codes.
• Manage the online contractor management system end-to-end across all sites/offices.
• Use ER metrics and dashboards to support decision-making for senior leaders.
• Review labour and employment litigation cases and coordinate with external legal counsel.
• Represent the organization before external authorities such as PF, ESIC and labour/employment authorities, courts and tribunals.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of HR/ER experience.
• At least 2–3 years in an employee relations role within a manufacturing environment.
• Essential qualification: MBA in Human Resources or MSW.
• Preferred qualification: LLB or certification in employee relations.
• Ability to understand, interpret and resolve complex labour legislation and statutory compliance matters.
• Proficiency in communication and ability to present/explain ER/HR matters to stakeholders.
• Skills for conflict resolution and mediation with trade unions for constructive outcomes.
