Overview
Director of Human Resources for India and UAE, based in Bengaluru with a hybrid schedule and 4 days per week in office. You will lead and operate across employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and HR policy infrastructure for the India and UAE entities.
What you'll do
- Serve as the HR leader for India and the UAE, partnering with regional and global leadership on people strategy.
- Translate local regulatory requirements into pragmatic, user-friendly HR policies and guidance for India.
- Partner with Legal to monitor evolving employment law and update policies and manager guidance.
- Own the end-to-end employee relations lifecycle, including investigations, performance management, and sensitive exits.
- Partner with Legal to design risk-mitigation protocols and litigation prevention initiatives.
- Integrate local market perspectives into global People strategy to drive organizational effectiveness and leadership development.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience.
- 5+ years as a Director or Senior People Business Partner overseeing multi-country environments within the SaaS or high-tech sector.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in India’s multi-state regulatory landscape, including Gratuity, PF, ESI, and Labor Code reforms.
- Ability to navigate UAE labor laws and sponsorship rules.
- Proven track record building HR infrastructure in hyper-growth environments.
- Ability to manage complex investigations and organizational design independently across a matrixed global structure.
Nice to have
- Master's degree certification.
- Advanced knowledge of India employment law.
