Overview
Global HR Generalist (execution-focused) supporting regional HRBP leads across a global employee population. This is a 6-month hybrid contract based in Chennai or Bangalore.
What you'll do
- Support lead HRBPs with day-to-day HR needs and employee touchpoints.
- Prepare for business reviews and handle policy questions and routine escalations.
- Own end-to-end execution for HR programs including performance cycles and onboarding/offboarding.
- Use AI tools to draft communications, analyze people data, and surface insights for faster decisions.
- Track open items, follow through on commitments, and maintain HRIS data accuracy.
- Coordinate with HR colleagues globally to adapt to regional nuances and ensure consistency.
What you'll need
- 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees, managers, and senior leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and close loops through follow-up.
- Active daily user of AI tools with built-in habits to work smarter.
- Working knowledge of HR fundamentals including employee relations, performance management, employment law basics, and HRIS systems.
- Collaborative instinct to support others without being asked.
- Discretion and sound judgment to handle sensitive information and know when to escalate.
