Director, People Operations

Overview

Director of People Operations who leads HR operations, compliance, and employee experience for offices in India while partnering globally to build scalable people programs, processes, and systems.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end HR operations functions for the India region including onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits management, compliance, and employee data.
• Build and maintain processes, documentation, and workflows to keep operations running smoothly and scale with growth.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and proactively communicate with regional and global leadership teams.
• Own and manage HR data.
• Partner with department heads and executives to translate business strategy into people programs and solutions.
• Support headcount planning tied to revenue goals and advise on organizational restructuring.
• Oversee talent attraction, development, retention programs and measure engagement.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of HR operations and business partner experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior HR role.
• Experience building and managing HR processes from the ground up.
• Mastery of regional compliance and reporting requirements, payroll, benefits, and compensation.
• Strong HR technology and HRIS experience (Workday preferred).
• Deep knowledge of Indian labor law, employment practices, and regulatory landscape.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
