Manager, Financial Operations

Overview

Manager for Trade Accounting and Operations, responsible for post-trade activities and accurate recording of positions, cash, and P&L.

What you'll do

• Ensure daily trade, position, Swap MTM, and cash reconciliations to prime brokers/custodians/administrators.
• Drive timely reconciliations and settlements of OTC products.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, escalate aged breaks, and troubleshoot business-as-usual issues.
• Coordinate with investment managers, prime brokers, and administrators to resolve day-to-day exceptions and build strategic initiatives.
• Support accounting close review (monthly/bi-weekly), including outstanding breaks support and month-end binder preparation.
• Handle reconciliations related to pricing, middle office, and collateral management discrepancies and internal queries.
• Assist auditors and fund administrators during audit and NAV finalization; support technology teams on special projects (reports, specifications, UAT).

What you'll need

• 6-9 years of work experience in fund accounting.
• MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or an equivalent qualification.
• In-depth domain/finance knowledge and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and experience managing high performers.
• Strong project management skills and effective managerial ability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
