Senior Manager, Financial Operations

Overview

Senior Manager responsible for trade accounting and operations, ensuring accurate and timely post-trade processing for hedge funds.

What you'll do

• Own daily trade, position, Swap MTMs, and cash reconciliations to prime brokers/custodians/administrators and manage income/expense accruals.
• Oversee timely reconciliations and settlements of OTC products.
• Provide day-to-day operational oversight, escalate aged breaks, troubleshoot, and set team direction and goals.
• Coordinate with investment managers, prime brokers, and administrators to resolve exceptions.
• Liaise with internal functions (pricing, middle office, collateral management) to resolve discrepancies and internal queries.
• Review accounting close support (monthly/bi-weekly) including the month-end binder and assistance for outstanding breaks.

What you'll need

• 9–12 years of work experience in fund accounting.
• Hold an MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate in-depth finance/domain knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage high performers.
• Strong project management and managerial ability.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
