Manager - Fund Accounting

Overview

Manager - Fund Accounting responsible for ensuring smooth, high-quality fund accounting service delivery across booking, calculations, valuations, and reporting.

What you'll do

• Oversee booking of daily journal entries for ongoing service delivery and client quality.
• Manage tasks including management fee calculation, accrued expense reimbursements, and investment valuations.
• Ensure preparation of financial/investor reports and ad hoc reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 10+ PE fund accountants.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with US GAAP.
• Review and test control processes regularly and create process checklists for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Prepare MIS reports and coordinate weekly/monthly management calls.

What you'll need

• Experience managing fund accounting activities including NAV packs, capital calls, and distributions.
• Ability to ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with US GAAP.
• Experience reviewing and updating critical process documents.
• Ability to handle audit and investor queries in a timely manner.
• Experience preparing financial statements as per US GAAP/IFRS.
• Ability to interact with client service teams for timely and accurate financial information communication.
• Ability to resolve breaks and assist with cash projections or wires.
