Manager - Fund Accounting, CPD

Overview

Arcesium seeks a Manager for its Client and Partner Development team to lead client implementations of private fund data onto the Arcesium platform.

What you'll do

• Develop a deep understanding and working knowledge of Arcesium's business and functional domain, products, solutions, and the underlying technology.
• Work with pre-onboarding teams such as project management and other Forward Deployed teams to understand and gather scope and client requirements.
• Review and understand key fund organizational documents and operational workflows required for onboarding private fund data onto the Arcesium platform.
• Perform data mapping, data transformation, loading and reconciliation on the Arcesium platform as part of client implementations.
• Liaise with various stakeholders within projects during the phases of implementation.
• Support building and enhancing implementation tools for seamless and faster onboarding.
• Work with technology teams to assist and test bespoke reports and special requirements identified during requirement gathering.
• Work on deep dive presentations and proof of concept projects to help Arcesium win new business.

What you'll need

• 6 to 13 years of financial industry experience.
• Professional certification such as CA, MBA or CFA.
• A background in private capital markets (one or several of: private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure) with strong fund accounting and operations domain expertise.
• Well versed with GAV/NAV calculations and overall investor allocations process.
• Working knowledge of private fund structures, fee calculations, carried interest, etc.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a very dynamic environment and meet tight timelines.

Nice to have

• Prior experience of client implementations or onboarding.
• Knowledge of private equity accounting systems such as Investran.
• A good understanding of financial products.
