Manager II , Supply Chain

Overview

Manager II, Supply Chain role at Regal Rexnord in Hyderabad, responsible for leading supply chain operations, cost reduction, supplier management and cross-functional coordination.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate leadership, create an inspiring vision of the future, motivate people toward it, and coach and build a team to achieve it.
• Provide strategic and leadership inputs and guidance for the company's business.
• Work closely with regional and global teams and leaders for effective cross collaboration.
• Identify cost drivers within supply chain processes and initiate cost saving measures.
• Drive continuous improvement projects.
• Improve logistics service levels, manage quality of service and reduce lead time to meet internal and external stakeholder and business demand expectations.
• Coordinate with EHS, IT, Finance, Legal, HR and other functions to ensure compliance with internal and external rules and regulations related to supply chain operations and processes.
• Identify risks and take preventive or corrective action, including communication to relevant stakeholders.
• Understand the Procure to Pay process flow and set up requirements to support manufacture of complex, highly engineered products; continually improve purchasing systems and processes for greater efficiency.
• Perform spend analysis, commodity analysis, vendor capacity analysis and supply risk management, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to review overall supply chain strategy.
• Develop strategies to meet or exceed cost savings and supplier performance targets.
• Monitor and forecast demand, forecast price and market trends, and identify changes in buyer-supplier power balance, acting with the best strategies.
• Assess, manage and mitigate supply risks.
• Draft supplier and service provider contracts, negotiate with internal and external functional leaders and legal teams, and obtain approvals to sign and renew contracts on time.
• Focus on inventory levels in line with fiscal year budget and balance demand and supply against inventory targets.
• Support management with data analysis and prepare clear, concise reports for management presentations.
• Manage supply base performance through periodic performance evaluation, supplier audits, and coordination with the Quality department and suppliers.
• Comply with Rexnord Purchasing Ethics and Code of Conduct.
