Manager, Medical Communications and Content Solutions, Vaccines

Overview

Manager for Medical Communications and Content Solutions within Pfizer’s Global Medical Communications and Content organization, responsible for creating and executing global external-facing medical content in assigned therapeutic areas (including Vaccines).

What you'll do

• Develop end-to-end medical affairs content such as abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters/presentations, and graphical abstracts.
• Research, organize, compile, interpret, and quality-check technical/medical information for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create medical content across assigned therapeutic areas/medicines.
• Provide solutions to authors for assigned projects in coordination with relevant supporting teams (e.g., Graphics, Compliance agency).
• Perform accuracy review and data quality control for medical content to ensure objective and accurate representation.
• Ensure project delivery within expected timelines while meeting quality and compliance requirements.
• Track assigned project progress, resolve issues with guidance from the Team Lead, and support training materials/tool/process training.

What you'll need

• Advanced scientific doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD, MSc, MPH, MPharm).
• Minimum 3 years of experience writing/developing medical content for pharma, academic settings, CRO, or biotech.
• Ability to lead and execute a project end-to-end.
• Excellent scientific writing skills to interpret and concisely summarize complex data.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to understand statistical principles used in medical research and familiarity with epidemiologic principles.
• Experience using tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to present and analyze data.
