Overview
Compensation Lead responsible for tactical delivery and governance of global compensation and pay programs.
What you'll do
- Deliver compensation programmes and ensure pay decisions follow approved reward frameworks.
- Maintain governance for salary structures, pay ranges, guidelines, and approval workflows.
- Lead market benchmarking via compensation surveys and develop job matching outputs.
- Coordinate job evaluation, role levelling, and grading using the company’s job architecture.
- Run annual compensation cycles for merit, bonus, and variable pay with validation and controls.
- Govern incentive plan and variable pay processes, including eligibility, targets, calculations, and approvals.
- Build compensation models and reporting to support pay decisions, forecasting, and workforce planning.
What you'll need
- 5+ years’ experience in compensation, total rewards, pay governance, or reward operations.
- Strong knowledge of annual compensation cycles, merit/bonus planning, salary structures, benchmarking, job grading, and incentives.
- Advanced Excel and compensation modelling skills for complex datasets and exception identification.
- Experience coordinating compensation cycle delivery across HR, Finance, Payroll, and HRIS teams.
- Experience using HRIS or compensation tools such as Workday, Beqom, or Ravio.
- Degree or equivalent experience in HR, Finance, or a related field.
