Manager Procurement

Overview

Manager Procurement manages procurement of materials and services needed in the manufacturing process, including supplier qualification, purchasing operations, and quality of purchased goods and services.

What you'll do

• Define and communicate rules for supplier bids and manage high-impact purchases.
• Evaluate supplier qualifications and negotiate prices.
• Oversee daily purchasing activities such as requesting quotes, issuing purchase orders, and approving invoices/contracts.
• Analyze historical and market information to assess purchasing decisions and recommend improvements.
• Manage the quality of purchased goods and services against specified requirements.
• Resolve major supplier-related problems.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier 1 University or College.
• Extensive experience interpreting quantitative and statistical tools and explaining results.
• Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques.
• Business intelligence knowledge involving gathering, storing, analyzing, and providing access to data.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka.
• Work onsite five days a week (5 working days from office).
• Relocation is available for this position.
